Marjorie Lee Woods, age 72, of Albemarle, passed away September 13, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle.

Born April 9, 1940 in Mecklenburg County, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin Crump and the late Nola Mae Brooks Crump. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Theodore Woods.

She was a textile worker and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughters, Delicia Payne of Atlanta, GA., Anita Britt of Albemarle and Vicky Harmon of Charlotte and Marjorie Lynn Crump of Charlotte; sons, Ricky Sessoms of Boiling Springs, SC and Anthony Brooks of Austell, GA; and brother Toby Crump of York, SC; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
